Third Full-Scale Demonstration Flight
Following an unsuccessful Payload Demonstration Flight on March 14th at Luscern, which damaged the rocket because of high winds, the team decided to launch at Friends of Amateur Rocketry the following week. After discovering that one of our flight computers was causing a premature release of the main parachute, the computer was replaced, and we had an almost perfect launch at FAR!

Second Full-Scale Demonstration Flight
On February 7, Team Hydra had its second full-scale demonstration flight, featuring Project Cerberus. The team launched in Holtville, California, at around noon. The launch proved successful, as the team was able to effectively recover the rocket, and the main parachute and drogue chutes were successfully deployed. Team Hydra looks optimistically to the next launch and believes they will be able to achieve their goals.
